“Fade into Darkness” is a song by Swedish house producer and DJ Avicii. It was released on July 16, 2011. The song interpolates elements from “Perpetuum Mobile” by Penguin Cafe Orchestra, as written by Simon Jeffes. Prior to its release, the song was referred to as “Penguin” and was then solely an instrumental track, unlike “Fade into Darkness”, which does have lyrics.
